Privacy information

When you enter a web address, Clir visits those public pages in the same way a search engine would and reads what is publicly there: the words, headings, links, pictures, colours and text sizes. Clir does not sign in to your website, does not change anything and does not look at anything behind a login.

Your account holds your email address, the websites you have added and the checks you have run. Each check saves the findings, the pages checked, your notes on manual checks and which items you have marked as done. Pictures of your pages are stored so your report still makes sense later.

This information is kept while your account exists, so you can compare checks over time. Ask us and we will remove your account and its saved checks.

Your reports are private to your business account and anyone you invite to it. MWT Cymru staff can see your business details, your website check results, how far you have got with your action list, and when you last signed in, so they can support you and report on the programme across Wales.

MWT Cymru staff can also sign in to your account to help you. Every time that happens it is recorded, and a bar across the top of the screen shows it while they are there.

If you create a share link for a report, anyone with that link can open it. Only share it with people you want to see the report.

Clir uses only the storage needed to keep you signed in. There are no advertising cookies and no third party tracking.

Emails are sent for account matters only: confirming your email address, resetting your password and invitations to join a business account.

Your dashboard, reports, action list and account pages are marked so search engines do not list them.
