Accessibility statement

We aim to meet the WCAG 2.2 AA guidelines, the same guidelines Clir checks websites against. That means readable colour contrast, text that can be enlarged, headings in a sensible order, descriptions on meaningful pictures, forms with clear labels and helpful error messages, and a visible outline on whatever you have selected with the keyboard.

Clir has not been formally audited by an independent assessor, so we do not claim full compliance. Automated checks alone cannot confirm it, which is exactly why Clir includes manual checks.

Every part of Clir can be reached with the keyboard. Use Tab to move forward, Shift and Tab to move back, and Enter or Space to choose. Where colour is used to show importance, there is always a word or a shape saying the same thing.

Pictures of your website pages are taken from your own site, so how readable they are depends on the website being checked. Where a picture is used as evidence, the finding is also written out in words so nothing depends on being able to see the image.

Some longer report tables scroll sideways on very small screens.
